denaPe is a record of what you gave, what you took, and what is still due. It is not a bank, and it does not lend money.
You log in with the mobile number that has WhatsApp. That number receives the OTP. Pay reminders go to the person who still has to return the money, on WhatsApp and by email if they saved one. You are responsible for the entries you write and for inviting the right person.
Pay now opens a UPI app and sends money to the UPI ID saved on that business. denaPe does not hold, process, or verify that payment. A return still has to be marked in the account.
Do not use denaPe to harass someone, to enter a number you should not contact, or to send OTP requests over and over. We can deactivate an account that is misused.
denaPe shows the amounts you and the other person save. It does not decide a dispute for you. Check the entry, and correct it in the app, if a line is wrong.
